Monday Mornings submitted by a2sue on July 15, 2013, 6:22am I'm glad they made a series on TNT based on this novel.

Average book, but fun because it's set in Ann Arbor submitted by 21621031390949 on July 20, 2018, 2:22pm I enjoy reading books set in locations that I know well, and this one is in Ann Arbor, where I live. It's fun to read that the characters go for breakfast at a well-known haunt that I've patronized over the years. However, as literature, this book is pretty average: interesting enough to keep me reading, but fairly predictable. Many of the characters resonated with me, as I saw in them several physicians with whom I've worked in real life. At the same time, the characters seemed created for television, an ensemble cast of a medical drama. They're a bit two-dimensional, but to be honest, so are the real-life physicians they resemble. In the end, it's wound up tidily, though not necessarily as expected.

Set in Michigan! submitted by pamhockey25 on August 8, 2022, 4:20pm Set in Michigan, the book follows the lives of five surgeons at Chelsea General. The characters were interesting and reading it gives a good sense of what it would be like to be a neurosurgeon.
