COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Amazing submitted by mysterio on June 27, 2012, 5:06am It's not everyday a movie series comes along that mixes magic, action, friendship, and ... Quidditch. The Harry Potter movies do all that and more, delighting fans of J.K. Rowling's books while also entertaining those new to the Potterverse. Like the books, the movies do get darker and more intense as the series progresses, so make sure your little Harry, Ron, and Hermione fans are ready for each new chapter before moving on.

Deathly Hallows 2 submitted by SBNB on July 1, 2012, 5:16pm For fans of the Harry Potter series, it's a good movie. For people who have not read the books, it might be a little hard to follow. It keeps the gist of the story (from the book) but deviates on some key points. Also, the ending was a little lackluster. Overall, though, a good addition to the series.

Great submitted by jangmikyoung on July 19, 2012, 4:42pm I love this series and the movies aren't always as good as the books, but they were still good. I was sad to think that this was the last movie, but it was fun to watch all of them and to see the actors/actresses grow up.

Sweet!!! submitted by leehannah on July 19, 2012, 4:45pm I loved this movie, although it wasn't my favorite one out of the whole series, it was still one of my favorites. It was sad that this was the last movie, but it was really fun. I liked the epilogue a lot. Blu-ray was almost as good quality as the movie theater. So, if you have Blu-ray then I would definitely recommend watching this. But, without is also good.

fantastic submitted by Lizzy on August 9, 2013, 4:53pm this is my favorite movie in the entire series. the special effects are good, and the movie is very exciting

great submitted by kellen on August 10, 2013, 9:02am one of my favorites

I loved it submitted by chioma on June 23, 2015, 9:51am It was a thrilling movie. I hung on with every spell they cast. And loved how amazingly realistic this movie was, because of Voldomort's hideous nose.

Deadly hallows submitted by leenajong on August 15, 2016, 9:48am Kind of dark but still very good.

Dark submitted by jmb.mlis on August 21, 2016, 11:17pm It's difficult when a film is so dark that I can't really tell what's going on. I understand the need for lighting as mood, but it is still a challenge.

Best Movie in the series! submitted by lianayz on July 7, 2017, 3:47pm This movie is the best movie in the series in my opinion, but one thing, WHY DOESN'T HARRY POTTER JUST KILL DEATH EATERS and VOLDEMORT AND STOP THE LITTLE MINOR MAJOR CURSES?!(Crucio,Expelliarmus,etc....)

Best Movie submitted by Rumshaker13 on June 19, 2018, 10:40pm Great conclusion to an awesome series!!!

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Part 2 submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 12:13am I'm sad to see the series end, but what a superb way to go!

Magical submitted by anacoluthon on August 19, 2018, 4:21pm The end of an era! I didn't like the epilogue, but otherwise it was enjoyable.

Excellent finish! submitted by Xris on August 26, 2018, 12:25am All that the students have learned over the years is invaluable to complete what was started in hunting down Voldemort. The kids are so grown up and it's hard to say good-bye to the series. The movie is very dark, but a great ending.

Great Ending to the Best Series submitted by Abbie D. on June 29, 2022, 11:13am Some scenes are pretty inaccurate, so movie watchers you may be lost at some points if you didn't read the books. Once again however, it is still spectacular and tells the story very well. Be prepared for some heart break but also for a heartwarming ending.

great submitted by tarzan5411 on June 22, 2023, 11:10am the movie and book are both detailed and descriptive, good book

Great Book Adaptation! submitted by ewraback on July 12, 2023, 9:10pm This may be one of the best long movie series of all time and this movie just was the icing on top of the cake. It followed the book almost exactly, which as an avid book lover was very important to me. This is probably the best book adaptation ever. Of course, it being so detailed made the movie very long, but I do feel like it is necessary.

Only film i dislike in the series submitted by amgaren on July 21, 2023, 5:25pm this film is good, but I really dislike how they changed voldemorts death here. he was supposed to die like a normal person, showing that he wasnt much different than the rest of us but here they changed it from the books and made it overdramatic. it was supposed to be underwhelming but instead they dramaticized it. other than that it was a good movie.
