My favorite of the Maiden Lane series! submitted by Kikumatsu97 on June 23, 2016, 11:20am The charming Mickey O'Connor is indeed that. When he's first introduced in the series opener Wicked Intentions, youre made to dislike him and be intrigued by him, but in this book, he becomes humanized and as we get to now him better, we learn to love him even more than many of the other heroes who are more easily understood. I love Hoyt's approach to 18th century British romance, because she really keeps the history alive while making the storyline interesting to readers. I highly recommend this one to anyone looking to embark on a racier more corrupted style of Happily ever after romance.
