Joyful and Simple, like the children it's for submitted by lorigatlin on June 19, 2021, 7:41pm This book gives a fresh take on the origin story of Santa Claus, casting him as the bandit king of Europe who finds his way to a wizard's enchanted village. It also begins an epic war of cosmic proportions. The feel of this story reminded me of classic fairytales and books like the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe, yet is refreshingly modern. I absolutely recommend this book, especially if you watched and enjoyed the movies.
