Best in the Franchise submitted by Meginator on August 5, 2020, 5:04pm In terms of basic quality, this is easily the best film in the Fast & Furious franchise to date, with relatively convincing performances from most of the ensemble cast, fancy set-piece scenes, and a pleasantly twisty plot that is just this side of realistic as the films transition from the street racing scene to, um, heists. The film does a good job of integrating itself with the broader franchise and feels like a turning point, adding a bombastic new character as a (worthy) foil to Dom, Brian, and their ever-expanding crew and establishing a new, more outlandish direction for the future films. With over-the-top action sequences and enough story to establish and maintain its momentum, this film is a great way to spend two hours.

Probably My Favorite in the Franchise submitted by Maria Maguire on July 23, 2023, 11:02pm The first movie where we get the whole gang - almost everyone from previous films - joining together. (We love a reunion episode!) This becomes the main group moving forward. Doesn't have stunts as entertainingly ridiculous as some of the later movies, but doesn't have a stronger plot than some of those. All in all a fun watch.
