Great beats, a little dark submitted by ldibble on July 1, 2015, 5:56pm This collection has good variety of the different rhythms common to the genre. The title "for the mental" could be referring to how some of the pieces are spooky reminiscent of the themes of horror movies before the villain collects his next victim. Despite this, it was enough to keep us awake on the drive and dancing it our seats.

Chill Electronic Vibes submitted by Meginator on July 31, 2018, 12:35pm This album isn't ambient, exactly, but it feels like background music made up of relaxed hip-hop backing tracks, with a range of synthesized sounds and good grooves and movement in every track. The tracks are brief, but the album has a single coherent vibe throughout. One track in particular reminded me (fondly) of the Donkey Kong Country soundtracks, using some of the same echoed faux-marimba sounds.
