COMMUNITY REVIEWS

great 'end of the world' AND 'prepper' lit submitted by hathaway1066 on July 22, 2013, 8:49pm For anyone trying to 'prep' for some dire TEOTWAWKI scenario, you have to check this out. Niven's version is an comet and I'm guessing it's the, or one of the seminal comet/end of the world as we know it yarns. A bit political with it's derisory take on any/all on the political left, and very pro nuclear power but not so much so that a lefty like myself couldn't very much enjoy it. I read this probably 25 years ago and yet it seems fresh in my mind--not a 'deep' novel, but lots of action and adventure, heroes in white hats and villains conveniently very villainous. Enjoy!
