Presented is a delicate, funny, and often poignant portrait of a dedicated artist whose only wealth is his own humanity and unassuming grace.

Snappy & Charming submitted by whoisdonald on June 29, 2013, 8:51am I didn't know anything about Bill Cunningham prior to this film and found him to be an excellent subject for a feature documentary. He's engaging, intriguing and visually there's a wealth to see through his career of style photography. His demeanor is infectious and its clear to see how he's charmed so many along his zig zag bike-riding path around NYC. The film seems stretched a little to make it feature length, so it loses some energy in the final 1/3. The filmmaker's late-in-the-game attempt to get personal with Bill also becomes pretty awkward. But overall it's a fun ride and well worth viewing - recommended.
