Great Movie submitted by DTrier on December 26, 2011, 7:23pm In the tradition of black-and white humanistic films, "The Music Room" offers a familiar and yet "very Indian" approach to everything from the plot to character motives and emotions to shooting technique. I highly recommend viewers also watch the accompanying Mira Nair interview as it provides much better film context and insight than I can do here.
