forget? submitted by lekendrick on March 31, 2012, 8:37pm it's very good film by title an casing I'd imagined some animation released post 9/11 receive little fanfare, but critics lauded! What it had turned out be is a set of interesting choices of dialog an staging deserving respect it is fresh & new, but familiar worthy notes being exchanged as to tone of times the characters have stances they've dug in heels too hopefully see a specific set of given times through w/ admitted normality unfolding talk of monsters or like negate traditional archetypes as culpability easily sensed!

Not entirely sure.. submitted by jibkidder on June 26, 2022, 7:23am ...the director's motivations for making this 'quasi-sequel', it is for sure one of Solondz's lesser works. Why is it flat, devoid of energy? Did the cast of the original pass and sort of suck the energy out by their passing? Perhaps the original caused so much of a reaction, dispelled so much energy into the world, that the task of recapturing that was ill fated? Perhaps there is no great explanation. Perhaps you win some, you lose some, and Todd lost on this one. Recommended for the Solondz superfan only.
