Gentle introduction to death submitted by jackson.sarah.jean on March 15, 2016, 1:34pm This is a sweet book. In this book the boy lost his best friend and is trying to cope with it. This is a sad story, but not too sad. This book is a good way to gently introduce death to your kids. You really felt for the boy and the sister of the child that died. This book was ended in a hopeful way giving the reader something to look forward to.
I cried during this book and it brought on a good conversation with the kids.

If Nathan Were Here submitted by SBNB on August 20, 2018, 2:54pm Wow, that's a sad book. It's about death and mourning. But it's a good book. It's well written with nice pictures. I didn't read it to my kids this time, but I'll remember it for later when a conversation about losing a loved one is necessary.
