Beautifully Illustrated But... submitted by sdunav on July 1, 2012, 2:53pm ...the text, although interesting, isn't compelling enough to make anyone but botanists, ecologists, or historians read this from cover to cover.
Agree with other review submitted by gardenfaerie on August 6, 2017, 7:44pm I'm a master gardener and pant geek, and I love the idea of this book a lot... but also did not make it through all the plants. I would think of this more as a reference book, than something you devour.
