Follows the adventures of Malcolm, the middle brother in an eccentric middle class family. In Rollerskates, Malcolm suffers under his father's roller skating tutelage, while Lois is sidelined with a nasty back injury. In The bots and the bees, while Lois is out of town visiting Francis, Malcolm and his friends build a robot, but Hal soon takes over the project. In Smunday, when Lois gets sick, Malcolm and his brothers manage to convince her that it's Sunday so they can stay home from school. In Water park, Malcolm and Reese spend the day fighting at a water park, whil Dewey stays home with a very strange baby sitter.
