Every recipe I have made in this book, except one which my son may have altered without my knowledge, was great. Some of the recipes may take longer, but they are all worth it. I must say there are a million french cookbooks out there and there are some that are better, but this one packs a lot of good stuff in a nice general sized package. If you want lots of inspirational pictures and very little writing then you have to look elsewhere. this is not a coffee table book. This is a book that you will use, and hopefully quite often.
