Great adventurers

There are lots of facts about 5 incredible explorers here: Magellan, Shackleton, Cook, Heyerdahl and Chichester. The format is pretty jumbled, but there is lots of information, and some great fold out maps that kids will like.
The Shackelton story, if you have never heard it, is truly amazing. To hear more, check out "Endurance" by Alfred Lansing at some point, it is well worth it.
