Didn't fully realise that Karen Rose's stories were "romantic suspense" submitted by delaflynn on August 29, 2021, 9:54am I guess after reading a handful of her books I should have been able to work out that she purposefully wrote in all the romantic stuff as part of the genre. I thought a good bit of the "romance" bits were excess to requirement to move the story forward. The suspense aspect of the stories are good. Her work isn't what one would call "serious literature" but the stories are entertaining and can make for light reading. I enjoyed this book in general.
