No mystery submitted by halalheather on May 7, 2013, 9:34am This is a very disturbing and thought provoking film. It's scary to even imagine a world without honeybees and honey. But clearly, the organic farmer who moved all his hives to Virginia had it right all along, the GMO's in the plants that bees get their nectar from, the way bees are treated, artificial insemination, killing the queen bee and inserting a new queen in the hive, feeding bees sugar----all these are some of the ways that humans are definitely contributing to the bees demise. A few organic farms is all that are left of the humane way beekeeping use to be done, but there are only a few in the U.S. Much of the honey is not even honey, its a mix of sugar and other ingredients, very little honey in there. Most honey is not processed in a humane and organic way. It made me sad to think people of corporations care more about money than about keeping bees alive. Is there any way to stop such destructive behavior especially when we ourselves will perish without bees???

Sad, so sad. submitted by jgetty on August 2, 2015, 9:54pm Everyone needs to be aware of this troubling fact of the demise of honeybees. It makes you realize that you cannot take anything for granted and have to treasure everything.
