Nice hats submitted by markwells on July 30, 2011, 10:03pm Is our destiny pre-ordained? Who are the guys with the hats? Why can't Matt Damon become president and have the girl of his dreams too? This movie has more questions than answers and that's not always a bad thing.
Thumbs up.

Good submitted by ColeenT on August 13, 2011, 8:33am Matt Damon is amazing in this sci-fi movie. The plot was really good and the movie overall was intresting and entertainning

God as bureaucrat. submitted by GJBarnett2 on August 19, 2011, 2:38pm Not even a good cast can save this ultimately unsuccessful fantasy boy-meets-girl variant on the free will/predestination dilemma.

good movie submitted by jszchen on August 26, 2011, 10:59pm great movie

It's not The Adjustment Team, but it's pretty good anyway submitted by cherylo on July 26, 2012, 8:45pm It's not the same story as the short it is based on, not by a long shot. But the screenplay takes some of the ideas in the story and runs away with it. I could recognize it was not really a Dick story while I was watching it, but I didn't mind. It's a very nice romance with some big ideas and a lot of great New York locations. Damon and Blunt have some lovely chemistry.

Too much hype submitted by kathleen824 on August 16, 2012, 8:37pm Sadly, too much hype. The movie did no meet my expectations.

Good chemistry, not so good movie submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 2:21pm Damon and Blunt had wonderful chemistry. The idea had a lot of possibilities. But the pacing and plot just didn't work. What a waste.

Good lesson submitted by Eli G-Linares on August 3, 2014, 1:31pm This film not only entertain, it remember us that we always need to be patient and don't miss ours live's goals. Really nice.

Strange submitted by rjsjwilliams on July 10, 2015, 10:10am Strange movie about a man who chooses to do what he wishes rather than doing what is ordained for his by the "adjustment bureau". I like Matt Damon, but I didn't care for this movie. Boy meets girl; can he keep girl? will both their lives be changed for the worst? If you still have questions when this is over, I think that is right.

Refreshing submitted by toschag on August 2, 2016, 11:01pm A great movie to make you think in the style of The Matrix.

Nice plot submitted by Duette on June 27, 2017, 12:25pm It's well scripted and love the banter between the main characters. It definitely keeps ones attention through the film.

Okay submitted by c_zhang on June 29, 2019, 1:08am Damon and Blunt had wonderful chemistry. The idea had a lot of possibilities. But the pacing and plot just didn't work.

Decent Philip K. Dick Adaptation submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2022, 8:53am Despite some significant potential with its premise (unsurprising, given that it is based off of a Philip K. Dick story), this sci-fi thriller comes up just a bit short in its philosophical implications and leaves too many big questions unanswered (or, more accurately, seemingly unconsidered) at the end. However, the striking romantic chemistry between Matt Damon and Emily Blunt and the well-considered pacing keep the film consistently entertaining, and it packs in a lot of complex plot twists for a major studio film. The story holds plenty of surprises without becoming unnecessarily complicated or overly enamored with its own cleverness, and the climactic chase scene uses some clever mechanics to keep both the characters and the viewers on their toes; it hints at some significant implications about free will and predestination, but never quite finds the courage to fully explore their true ramifications, which ultimately holds it back and makes it feel a little incomplete. This film could have been exceptional with a slightly different ending, but it is still incredibly solid as-is and serves as proof that the mid-octane thriller and deep philosophical pondering can go hand-in-hand when treated with careful consideration and respect.

Exciting submitted by RebeccaWittekindt on July 27, 2023, 6:47pm A really well made movie, with a great antagonistic force. The cast is amazing.
