Highly problematic story submitted by eileenw on June 26, 2022, 7:01pm When the female protagonist asks to leave, says she wants to call her family, or tells the male protagonist "no," the male protagonist (a supernatural creature with mind control) simply uses his magic/powers/strength to overpower her. When she becomes particularly troublesome, he uses his mind control to put her to sleep so that she forgets that she's been taken to his lair and is being kept there against her will. Packaged as a romance novel, this is not one.
