the best of TV submitted by NORMA on January 25, 2012, 2:22pm absolutely brillant, wonderfully written, superb to anything American TV has to offer.

Wonderful show! submitted by ValerieL on July 17, 2012, 11:40pm I really enjoy watching this show. I find the doc to be refreshingly real and it's nice to see a character who isn't "perfectly" nice all the time. I'm thrilled they made more seasons of it after it became such a hit here in the US!

British Comedy submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 15, 2013, 10:38am While not as entertaining as Monty Python, "Doc Martin" is still a good laugh for those who enjoy British television.

In the episodes on this disc, the doctor must face his aversion to blood in order to save a child. The ambulance scene might prove distasteful for those who also dislike the sight of blood, but [SPOILER ALERT], don't worry, it has a happy ending.

Watch the previous episodes to follow what is happening on this disc. The show follows Doctor Martin Ellingham, who has just moved from London to the tiny Cornish town of Portwenn, where he meets his quirky neighbors and becomes unexpectedly entangled in their lives. Doc Martin, as the locals insist on calling him, despite his best efforts, had to quit his successful London practice because he suddenly became afraid of blood. This poses quite a problem for someone in the medical field, but the doctor manages to scrape by an adapts to a completely different life on the seaside.
