Must read
I love the use of engravings and archival photographs to round out the illustrations. Such a beautiful book about an inspiring woman. Great message (ugh, I know) for kids. Paraphrased: Be an ubernerd and you just might make the world a better place.
Adorable Jane Goodall Biography
This is a picture book biography of the famous scientist, Jane Goodall. There aren't a lot of biographies out there for younger (preschool and Kindergarten-age) children, so it's nice to see this book. It's adorably-illustrated and uses simple words and imagery to tell the story of how Jane Goodall first became interested in the world around her and then went on to become the world's leading authority on chimpanzee populations. So cute! Check it out!
