Weird mishmash of a film submitted by severian on July 14, 2022, 7:27pm If you're going to watch this today, it's probably for Ray Liotta's first big role (spoiler alert: he is great, and very disturbing, in the film) as an abusive ex-husband. His manic energy is almost too much for the camera to capture, and his co-stars' movements don't quite sync up with what's he's doing in some of the more aggressive scenes. Still, the film is pretty dated in its gender politics, and it shows. But the camera work is interesting, and the film aggressively switches genres a few times in a way that keeps you guessing about what's about to happen next.
