Based on a True Story submitted by 0liviap0pp on August 5, 2011, 5:17pm This movie is a fascinating tale of a boy from China who grows to be a ballet dancer. A great film.

Superb submitted by esgzn1 on August 18, 2011, 9:28am I didn't expect it to be so good. Definitely a must-see movie!

Good movie... submitted by marielle on July 16, 2012, 1:25pm I enjoyed this movie but...

...the whole time I was watching it I was thinking, "the Chinese would HATE this..." It does make communist China in the 80s look really bad. Of course communist China in the 80s WAS really bad, and this is based off of a true story. But still, it does come off a little bit "yay U.S.!" to me.

Decent submitted by Cami K on August 26, 2012, 8:19pm This movie was pretty good. Definitely worth a watch.
