Thirty-two-year-old Sonny Koufax has spent his whole life avoiding responsibility. But when his girlfriend dumps him for an older man, he's got to find a way to prove he's ready to grow up. In a desperate last-ditch effort, Sonny adopts five-year-old Julian to impress her. She's not impressed and he can't return the kid.

Love this movie submitted by Sonia on June 26, 2011, 7:05pm When I was a kid I would watch this movie all the time. This is by far one of Adam Sandlers best movies. The jokes are hilarious and the story line keeps you hooked. Everyone should definitely see this movie!

Funny submitted by crazypockets on July 19, 2013, 5:04pm I think this may be Adam Sandler's last funny movie. Mostly it's the kid who makes the movie funny. It's a really honest look at what it's like to raise children. The scene where the kid eats a lot of junk food and then hops around the room and then....what parent or babysitter hasn't had to learn that lesson? Or when the kid wakes up after wetting the bed...Adam Sandler's solution is priceless. There are some genuinely touching moments in this movie, too.
