If you like fairies and fairy houses you will like this! submitted by KPNF on August 11, 2017, 6:27am This is an old Swedish tale by Elsa Beskow. Beskow's tales are delightful and fanciful full of imaginary tiny creatures/people. I wish the library had more titles by Beskow. I am surprised they are not more popular or well-known. In this one, two little boys from the acorn family and a little girl from the hazelnut family get lost, run into trolls and have to deliver freshly laundered gnome beards along the way. Wonderful!
