Here we finally reach the end of young Daisy's story, in which she has to make important life choices between the passion that has flared for years with Julian and the ardent interest of her young son's father. Without giving anything away, I'll just say that the journey was well written and enjoyable, but this didn't get five stars for me because the end wrapped up way too quickly. There was a journey inherent to that part of the story that could have been its own book, and skipping through it so quickly felt like we were cheated out of some of the best parts.

Still, if you've been reading the others in this series, this is a worthy addition.
