Gripping and good for older kids submitted by garotagretta on July 8, 2017, 8:20pm The story is fascinating as well as entertaining. We never got bored listening to this during our long drive. It almost made me wish our dog could talk.

A good example of ambivalence:
- I didn't know this was the start of a trilogy when I picked it up
-I'm glad it's a trilogy because I get to read more of this story.
Technically a YA book, I suggest it for teen and up.
Well assembled characters, compelling 'settlers on a new world... with a terrible secret' storyline.

Unique concept submitted by Xris on August 28, 2018, 9:18pm A teacher of 6th grade ELA introduced it to me, so I wanted to read it. I liked the unique concept behind this dystopian world. After reading the book, I find the concept a little more like a train wreck, but still wanted to finish the series to see what happened.
