A contemporary take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle stories, Sherlock is a thrilling, funny, fast-paced adventure series set in present-day London. The iconic details from Conan Doyle's original books remain: they live at the same address, have the same names, and, somewhere out there, Moriarty is waiting for them. And so across three thrilling, scary, action-packed, and highly modern adventures, Sherlock and John navigate a maze of cryptic clues and lethal killers to get at the truth.

Promising and true to character submitted by elfchild9 on July 3, 2011, 3:08pm This was the first episode of the show that I've seen, and so far I'm impressed. The character of Sherlock stays very close to his persona in the Arthur Conan Doyle books, and many of his quirks are lifted directly out of the pages of the original stories. Good pacing, decent scripting, and an exciting plot made this a show I'd love to see more from.
Excellent! submitted by pidg2 on July 11, 2012, 9:57am I thought this was excellent. The relationship between Sherlock & Watson is so amazing, and the stories kept me guessing the entire time!
must see TV submitted by manz on July 17, 2014, 3:39pm Sherlock is funny, smart, suspenseful, and well done. Superb acting and special effects put this show over the top. Only 3 episodes per season though, and such cliffhangers!
