Interesting Idea, Problematic Conclusions submitted by Meginator on August 15, 2017, 6:19pm This documentary suffers from some of the same problems as the book(s) it's based on: the idea is big and interesting and sounds good, but Levitt and Dubner tend to go for style over substance, choosing to highlight those results that will make the biggest splash regardless of the implications or, indeed, the data behind them. The documentary is worth considering for a new way of examining data and causality, but the book's problems remain.
