COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great submitted by ljq on July 16, 2011, 3:54pm These are the scariest episodes ever!

The Return submitted by brady.emmett on August 1, 2011, 11:02am The David Tennant Specials are wonderful. We know that the Doctor had it rough having to end things with Donna the way they did. He is lonely for his friend, and feeling his age. He is coming to realize that his companions from Earth will always be much more mortal and fragile than he is. He strikes out alone, but he finds that he can't not save the world. I'm glad that I wasn't waiting for a year to pass with just four specials. It would have broken my heart even more.

This is a scary set of episodes. The Master is clearly insane, and you don't know what to expect from him.

The End of David Tennant submitted by ersmith.maps on July 22, 2012, 7:19pm As I mentioned in my review of Waters of Mars, I was expecting great things from these two episodes (The End of Time Part I and II). Coming from that setup, I was expecting something on the level of Doomsday, where I would be breaking down in tears throughout the whole thing but still enjoying every minute of it. Instead, we get RTD trying to bring back every character he every thought up (from Rassilon, head of the Timelords, to the Master, to the Doctor visiting all of his own companions) and seeing how badly he can mess up the show before Steven Moffat took over. I never thought I would be glad to see David Tennant go, but I couldn't wait for these two episodes to be over.
