Keeps getting better submitted by acadotte on July 18, 2011, 1:27am I love this series. The newest book in the series, River Marked sees Mercy explore her own identity more deeply when a river monster starts killing people. This one has lots of action and kept me turning the pages.

Not Briggs's best work. submitted by eknapp on November 9, 2011, 2:40pm Book 5 or 6 or something in the Mercy Thompson series. A big ancient river monster has awakened and is eating people, and for some reason or other Mercy is the only one who can stop it. Plus she learns a bit more about skinwalkers and the guy who is (sort of) her father.

Eh...I think Briggs was on autopilot for this one. It wasn't bad but it's starting to feel contrived in ways that it never did before.
