Me, Frida- submitted by sara on June 18, 2020, 11:50am A beautifully illustrated book about Frida Kahlo. Because it was written for children, the biography aspect was quite tamed down. It covered the time she and Diego left Mexico for San Francisco. It’s very Fridaesque- the and Diego are shown flying like birds to the U.S. with their eyes closed as if in a dream. “Read” it for the illustrations.
