Boring Remixes submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2023, 11:31pm While this album does deliver a solid slate of massive hits from around 2010, the remixes often do little to transform the original tracks beyond adding the same electronic grooves and effects. Despite the fact that each remix is by a different artist, they all pull from the same tired trends and none of them makes anything particularly unique or memorable in its own right beyond the elements that make the songs so successful in their unaltered format. This is a decent snapshot of the era, for sure, but most listeners will be better served by getting the corresponding Now That’s What I Call Music compilations and listening to the original versions instead of this unexciting retread.
