Don't waste your time on cruddy movies!

this movie is terrible.

I loved it in all ways!

It was sweet then sour.
Then it was back to sweet!

(I don't see why people dont love it as moch as I do!)

Not even entertaining in its terribleness

Even without the controversy surrounding the casting choices for this adaption of the excellent carton series, this movie is a colossal mistake. Poorly written, bad acting, and really boringly choreographed fight scenes - it's really a shame they bungled the source material so very badly.

This is a good movie. I would recommend the cartoons because they're better. It doesn't have as much action and suspense as the cartoons.

Don't Watch It

It's seriously not worth your time. If you're interested in the story, watch the TV series. All three seasons. They are GREAT. This movie does not even come close to the greatness of the story. I even heard that M. Night received numerous "Razzie" awards for this movie (it's the opposite of the Oscars where people award the worst movies, actors, etc.) all of which he deserved for this one. This film is nowhere near his success "The Sixth Sense". Nowhere near. The only good thing that I have about it is that the music is great. Pick up the soundtrack, but don't pick up this movie!

It was okay, but not nearly as good as the cartoon TV series.

good movie

good movie i thought it could've been better

Not Worth The Time

I watched the movie before I had even heard of the TV series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Even without knowing how good the TV series was, I could tell that this movie was awful. It felt like there was the potential for a great story, but the acting was just so unbelievably bad (especially the kid who plays Aang) and the movie was simply not entertaining. Bottom line: if you want a good story, watch the cartoon TV series. If you want to see bad acting, go ahead and watch this movie.

This movie was awful compared to the cartoons. The characters were nothing like the cartoons.

The Cartoons were WAY better.

Cartoons Were Better

The movie was terrible. The actors were not good, and there was not much action, though the trailers made you believe that there was a lot. I would not waste my time watching this movie if I were you. Watch the cartoons instead. They were a lot better.
