There's Less Than 104 Days of Summer Vacation submitted by Meginator on August 29, 2020, 1:34pm This DVD includes a Christmas-themed episode of Phineas and Ferb along with several other episodes from the series, most of which revolve (more than usual) around Perry the Platypus. The general conceit works as well for the holiday season as it does for the summer (with a slightly adjusted theme song to smooth over the differences), even if the basic narrative arc remains more or less the same from episode to episode. The show’s trademark brand of humor blends kid-friendly hijinks with a barrage of cultural references, and each episode includes its own musical interlude. This collection is best for viewers who are already familiar with the series, as these episodes use a lot of running gags and callbacks, though even newcomers should be able to appreciate Phineas and Ferb’s intrepid creative spirit and its nuanced sense of humor.
