Wanted More submitted by Meginator on July 4, 2020, 1:11pm This album is fine, but given Deadmau5’s reputation I came into it expecting a bit more. I did find the music generally interesting in the ways that it incorporates different types of electronic instrumentation and the thematic development within each track, but not gripping enough that I feel driven to revisit the album any time soon. Still, at least he’s not mailing it in and some of the tracks do revolve around fairly catchy hooks, so I can see how the album will appeal to a lot of people even if it didn’t move the needle much for me.
