picks up after percy jackson and the olympian series, great sequel series. there is also roman mythology in addition to the greek. great start for the new series

This book is much better than the Percy Jackson series. It has a way of dropping you right in where you left of the last series.

I found that the plotline of this book was too similar to other books Rick Riordan has written. My favorite series of his books is the Kane Chronicles. This one is my least favorite, actually.
