Ditto unique submitted by LibraryMaven on August 11, 2014, 8:19pm Without a doubt, this is one of the stranger graphic novels that I have read recently. It is, for one, quite short and packs a lot of story line into its 67 pages. The drawings are impeccable, which is what I've come to expect from First Second publishers, but also hard to pull off when two main characters are wrapped in bandages for most of the book. While some of the story felt a little rushed (did Lillian and Imhotep IV really fall in love during one walk in Kensington Garden) and it sometimes feels that the author and illustrators have inside jokes just beyond the reach of the audience, the story is so improbable that it sweeps the reader along. If you are looking for a short, sweet(ish), quirky graphic novel, this one might be for you.
