COMMUNITY REVIEWS

not really submitted by ftan on July 16, 2012, 3:40pm i did not find this film very good. the fighting parts were only okay and the story was not very good. instead of watching the movie, i would recommend reading the book which is much better.

not great submitted by crazypockets on July 13, 2013, 12:02pm I think this movie was trying too hard to recapture some of "Gladiator"'s success, and it didn't manage to do so. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great, and it wasn't the inspiring call to arms it was trying for. Russell Crowe wasn't bad, but I think they were trying too hard to adapt the traditional story, and it didn't quite work.

I actually like it... submitted by Kikumatsu97 on August 16, 2015, 11:54pm I think if you enjoy historical accuracy and images of the time, (Which i'm totally obsessed with this period in european history) then you can enjoy the story as it rolls along. I think Blanchett is in an a-typical role, which is nice. I think it's a very good adaptation of a story that's really just not that exciting, whether you read it or watch it. I guess they have yet to make a movie about Robin Hood that people love.

Long and drawn out submitted by toschag on August 3, 2016, 12:41pm This movie took a long time to get rolling, and the end wasn't even that great when you finished it. Maybe more historically accurate than entertaining to watch.

love this movie submitted by kevinhe on July 28, 2019, 1:23pm it's a movie about the legend.

Robinhood submitted by crp on August 6, 2019, 7:23pm Worth watching

Forgettable submitted by SaraP on July 28, 2022, 7:27am Not horrible, but a forgettable version of the story. There are many better versions out there.
