funny and nice scenery submitted by adimarzo on August 25, 2011, 9:40am This is another fun and clever "Olivia" book. This one includes both drawings of Olivia and her family and background photographs of scenes in Venice. A good introduction to Italy and Venice (and gelato!).

More Olivia, but not just more of the same submitted by dimuziom on June 15, 2013, 1:54pm Fans of Olivia will enjoy this book, as it continues to showcase her feisty charm, but in a slightly more advanced story than the original. This is a great book for anyone who's kids love Olivia, but are ready for stories with a plot. Like other Olivia books the humor will appeal to adult readers and little listeners alike.

They enjoy the sights of Venice and have another gelato. After eating another gelato for good measure, they weigh down the gondola and see Venice by way of boat. Such an exciting trip requires more gelato, obviously. All the while Olivia is in search for the perfect souvenir. Right before she leaves Venice, and right before another gelato, Olivia finds the perfect souvenir and Venice will never be the same.
