Great techniques and designs; only a few patterns fit small feet submitted by sbleanunez on June 13, 2020, 12:00am I first learned to knit socks from Wendy Johnson's clear toe-up instructions, and I've now made a handful of pairs, mostly from her beautiful designs. I just wish more of the patterns fit me! I wear a youth 3/women's 5 shoe, so most of the patterns are too large for my feet. Some can be adjusted more easily than others (and the book includes explanations for finding the proper size, adjusting to fit, and sock construction techniques), but it was sad to see that some of the designs that most caught my eye did not have a smaller size included.
