I can see how this could be an interesting *supplement* to a class. However, on its own, it is not useful. The dialogues are complex, and you have to figure a lot out by context, which is hard when the pictures are just two people talking to each other.
I'm not sure whom this is aimed at. It is assumed that you don't know how to say "hello," but are already familiar with Turkish grammar. It did not help me at all, so I ended up getting a different book.
