Science Guy 2.0 submitted by cherylo on August 1, 2011, 8:41pm This video features a slightly more mature Science Guy and a higher level of scientific/engineering cred than the original Bill Nye series, because Underwriter's Laboratories is in on the action. Discusses electricity and electricity safety, including conductors vs insulators and the dangers of mixing water and electricity. I was slightly disappointed that there was no mention of the fact that throwing water on an electrical fire is a no-no (water gets electrolyzed on an electric fire, freeing up more oxygen and making the fire burn more strongly), but otherwise impressed.

Great submitted by ljq on August 5, 2011, 4:29am It's a good way to learn about science without being too bored. I have basically watched every episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy and they tend to have the same format with experiments you can try at home, explanations by Bill Nye and a rather cheesy and corny song at the end.

Also, these are the more high school editions in the Bill Nye series and it's probably too advanced for most children.
