Amusing submitted by Zekicmom on August 15, 2014, 3:43pm As someone who has written and received letters like the ones in this book, I found it both very funny and a little heartbreaking. Everytime I turned a page, especially in the the section titled, "Get Me Outta Here!!!" I half expected to see a letter I wrote to my parents my first time at sleep away camp, many many decades ago. (Why did you send me here? What did I do to deserve this? Why why why!?)
Although sometimes it was hard to make out the kids handwriting, it added so much to see the original letters, spelling mistakes, illustrations, underlining etc.

funny camp letters submitted by Jackie77 on August 29, 2015, 7:21pm Absolutely hilarious!!! Real letters sent to family members from kids at camp. One child really wanted to go home, which was a bit sad. The others were so funny I nearly cried laughing.
