Dahlias Abound
submitted by camelsamba on July 4, 2011, 10:54pm
The beginning was slow and mundane, and I considered giving up. However, the pace picks up after a while. I did figure out whodunnit fairly early on (and even the secondary mystery with the ghost), but not why, and of course I couldn't know all the back story without reading. So it was worth continuing.
I appreciated the list of Dahlias at the beginning, although it was difficult to keep the assorted family members, friends, and random community members straight. Will all of the Dahlias eventually play a more important role as the series develops?
Good Series submitted by kathscot on June 15, 2015, 8:18pm Enjoying the 1930's feel with household tips and recipes. This is the 2nd book - might be best to read them in order, as previous stories are referenced in later ones.
