Gold and Silver for a new generation submitted by Spectacular Reference-Man on June 21, 2013, 9:48am Like always, these guides are full of great information about the game. Gold and Silver were fan favorites and it's great to see them updated for a new generation. The updated graphics and new features, like having your lead Pokemon follow you on the map, made it very enjoyable. I wish they would bring the "outside the Pokeball" feature back in future games. I also liked that the game came with a pedometer that could store an in-game Pokemon and allow you to "walk" with your favorite Pokemon.

This guide gives you everything you need to know on your adventure from Johto through the Pokemon league, and onwards to the Kanto region. Although I encourage players to play the game until they are stuck before consulting the book. Part of the fun is solving the puzzles without looking it up.
