COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Queen of Queens submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 28, 2014, 4:56am Magnificent casting and a great movie-friendly adaptation of the true history of Elizabeth's early life and the beginning of her reign. Every aspect of the production has attention to detail without being bogged down in it. One of my favorites.

Elizabeth submitted by leenajong on August 7, 2015, 2:53pm Great movie. I like it a lot, will watch again.

good submitted by yenkong on August 27, 2017, 5:16pm Very cool. Great production!

Ridiculous Hollywood flick that only historical illiterates would love. submitted by Tassos on February 27, 2021, 7:12pm This movie is so ridiculous, it is a real pain to watch.

Not only the silly script, filled with utterly unimportant scenes and dialogues

But especially the photography and costumes and overall setup., The list is too long to detail. The shots supposedly happening at night have extremely bright lighting. THIS, you all should know, 400 years before the lightbulb, is RI DI CU LOUS.

If you want to see a musical or a romance or an action movie, then you may tolerate this shallow silliness. IF you are SERIOUS about movies who depict the 1500s AS THEY WERE and NOT as if they occured TODAY, then you will be disappointed.
