batman submitted by nasuaada on July 25, 2011, 9:24pm batman is one of the best superheroes

It's no "Batman and Robin"... submitted by mjuddhoffman on June 20, 2017, 7:35pm ...but it is a remarkably weak entry in the Batman film list. One of two Joel Schumacher films, both of which attempted to recapture a comic book feeling, but instead managed to recapture the worst of the campy 1960s TV series. Badly written dialogue, inadequate plot development, gaudy visuals, and, given the budget for these films, improbably poor special effects. While this film is marginally better than its successor, it is well worth steering clear of, and Tommy Lee Jones will probably thank you for doing so.

Good submitted by crp on August 24, 2019, 10:55pm Good overall
