Crushing submitted by CasualTim on October 5, 2010, 6:47pm Much like "The Pursuit of Happyness," this film hits you squarely in the jaw for an hour and a half... then gives you a lollypop at the end.

It's very well done, and Mortensen (as always) makes up for some of the weaker members of the cast. Suspenseful, emotionally investing... and crushing. 'Bleak' is a huge understatement. This movie will make you think, but it also might make you feel more empty than a piece of coal in a rainstorm in February. Don't watch it alone. And while I'd hate to ruin a good mood by watching this movie, it might be dangerous to watch it when already feeling down...
