COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Lovely driving music submitted by evelyn on June 24, 2011, 12:51pm This is great music to drive to, especially if you are feeling meloncholy. It's a bit better suited to the fall or winter, rather than summer jams. But it's lovely at any time of year.
Great Album submitted by jhesselgrave on June 27, 2011, 3:55pm I listen to this album at least three times a week. There is a lot of power in the vocals and lyrics, and the combination of a banjo and double bass gives this band a sound that stands out from a lot of popular bands. A very welcome break from the mainstream.
unique sound submitted by adimarzo on June 30, 2011, 11:38am Mumford & Sons has a unique sound that carries through the CD. The songs are mellow enough to listen to at bedtime but the lyrics are thought-provoking.

Better than I expected submitted by VickyB77 on August 6, 2015, 1:44pm The banjos and such caught me off guard initially, but their sound has really grown on me! I like it!
Mainstream Folk Rock submitted by Meginator on July 11, 2018, 9:19pm I don't know what it is exactly, but Mumford & Sons somehow manage to fuse traditional folk instrumentation with radio-ready hooks and an indie rock sensibility to create something that feels fresh and unique. The best songs on the album stick with you long after they're over, and the whole album has excellent coherence without ever becoming dull or one-note.
Folk and Rock Always a Good Mix submitted by timdufresne on July 13, 2018, 11:07pm And M&S do it better than most anyone out there today.
Loved it submitted by anacoluthon on August 23, 2018, 7:05pm I adore the lead singer's voice, it has a nice raspiness to it and conveys emotion really well
rock is weird submitted by gogo on June 17, 2019, 8:13pm raspiness isn't good
